As far as I remember, I have never been into the fashion and gossip magazines like Closer, Grazia, Cosmopolitan,
and all this trash. Nope! I am more into magazines that talk about never ending road-trips (National Geographic), lovely food (Saveurs) or interior design (Design Anthology)… So this blog is more a reflect of my trips here and there, my discoveries in London or UK and all my homemade DIY, rather than a fashion show 🙂
Most of the blogs targets the young 20 something students or the young mums…well I am in the middle. Finding an internship or get ride off acne are no more my concern and I am not yet into the concerns of the family life, owning a house and the usual problematic that come with the full package!
Frequently Asked Questions:)
I have always travelled and have always been on the move with a strong traveling bug. Let me clarify what I mean and tell you a bit of my first trip. In 1992, my grand-parents, my mother, my brother and I, we crossed the whole Europe in a road-trip from the South of France til Baia Mare in Roumania to celebrate Christmas and New years Eve with roumanian friends. Once in a life time experience…that was the beginning …
Then we added a few exotic destinations during the teenage years: I did some snorkeling with the turtles in Seychelles and Mauritius, celebrated the new Millennium in 1999/2000 during a Safari in Kenya and went backpacking in Cambodia when I was 15 with my mother (I also caught a Typhoide fever but survived).
Anyway, you got it, with this kind of background, I could not just stop here, whiteout going to see what is there.
Between the end of High School and my first real job, I had lived in 5 different countries: Texas, Irlande, South Korea, Germany and Italy.
In 2015, I had the chance to get a job opportunity in London and moved from Switzerland to the Big Smoke. Well who knows where I will be “running away”next time?
Why this blog?
This is just a place to share and exchange with you, and hopefully inspire you to move abroad, cross the sea to settle down to UK (or else where). There is so much to see in this world! Come on! Also as a late 20 something woman, I guess I may have the same professional or personal concern than you?
Other than that I am a true French girl (but as my international friends say “but not too French”, there is a sublte compliment in there), I like Champagne, The Kooples (Maje et Sandro), going to the Spa
(can not believe I just said that) and all the good and the pretty things.
Which camera do you use?
I have a Canon EOS 600D and I try to learn how to use Photoshop…not that successful on that part.
Which platform do you use?
After years on Blogger, I use now WordPress that I believe offer much more personalization options.
